1. Junior Hindi Translator: 02 Seats
2. Hindi Typist: 01 Seat
For Post 01: 18 to 35 years.
For Post 02: 28 years as on 12/12/2016.
For Post 01: Masters degree of a recognized University in any subject other than English or Hindi, with Hindi medium and English with Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English.
For Post 02: 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
Process of Selection:

National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) was established in November 1993 as an autonomous society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India. NIOT is managed by a Governing Council and the Director is the head of the Institute. The institute is based in Chennai.The major aim of starting NIOT under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, is to develop reliable indigenous technology to solve the various engineering problems associated with harvesting of non-living and living resources in the Indian Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), which is about two-thirds of the land area of India.
