AUK is by bifurcating Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University. The AUK cover the 6 district Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli, and Swai Madhopur. The Agriculture University, Kota was established in 2013 and its Affiliations by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
