Agriculture University, Kota was established in Kota by the Rajasthan Government under Agriculture University, Kota Act, 2013. Agriculture University, Kota is also known as AUK and it is an agricultural university. AUK is by bifurcating Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University. The AUK cover the 6 district Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli, and Swai Madhopur. The Agriculture University, Kota was established in 2013 and its Affiliations by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Mission and Mandate
- Food and Nutrition Security, Income Generation and Environmental Security have increased in order to develop human resources and to produce appropriate, efficient and effective technology for sustainable development in agriculture and allied sectors.
