About Jai Narayan Vyas University
Jai Narain Vyas University is the first university of Rajasthan State, which was given A grade by the National Assessment and Crediting Council (NAAC) in 2005 and it has been manned by the University for 5 years until a shortage of resources saw its accreditation lowered to a “B”. The Jai Narain Vyas University the only residential university in the Rajasthan state providing largely to the needs of students of western Rajasthan. Its research and development activities focus on the challenges of the Thar Desert region, heritage, and society in which it is located. The Jai Narayan Vyas University is also known as the University of Jodhpur and its short name is JNVU. The Jai Narain Vyas University Established on 24 August 1962. The University of Jodhpur Affiliations by University Grants Commission (UGC), National Assessment and Crediting Council (NAAC), and Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). Courses are offered by the JNVU in social sciences, law, engineering, humanities, sciences, commerce and business information technology, management, and languages. There are more than 40 postgraduate Courses, 30 undergraduate Courses, and 5 diploma and certificate courses.
