Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University is founded in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University is also known as JVWU in short name. JVWU is the first State Private Public Women’s University in India. JVWU is established by the State Legislature of Rajasthan University through the Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University Act 2008 (Act No. 17 of 2008).
The university is affiliated to various corporate companies and organizations through the university and consortium of the industry.
The University currently offers more than 156 educational programs under various disciplines resulting in various certificates, diplomas, graduation degrees, masters and doctoral degrees.
The University has more than 300 computers and memberships for various electronic magazines. The library has more than 30,000 books. Residential hostels have sports complexes, cinemas, gyms, and communal TV rooms.
There is a security cover in the university for the clock protection. There is a full-time security officer at the university. To provide security within the hostel, the lady guard is on duty for 24 hours and the men guard patrol all the gate premises.
