Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University is established in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. The Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University was established on 01 August 1987 as the University of Ajmer. Name of Ajmer University was changed in 1996. The access to this university is in the entire state of Rajasthan. The university has so far educated approximately 1,500,000 candidates. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Affiliations by University Grants Commission (UGC). This University is also a public University and it’s Chancellor is Shri Kalyan Singh and Vice-Chancellor is Professor DR. Vijay Shrimali.

The university is now in the process of re-recognition by NAAC.
