About Malviya National Institute of Technology:
The Malviya National Institute of Technology is a public university located in Jaipur, India, which focuses on science, engineering, and management. Formerly known as Malviya Regional Engineering College (MREC) Jaipur, it was adopted as its current name in 2002 and was recognized as a National Institute of Importance in 2007. It was established in 1963 with only two engineering branches and now fourteen departments, one school management, and associate center. The institute is fully funded by the Human Resource Development Ministry (MHRD), Government of India and is governed by a Senate according to the NIT constitution. The Malviya National Institute of Technology is also known as MNIT.
