The University of Kota Established in 2003 in Kota, Rajasthan, India. it is the public university in Kota. The University of Kota is provided the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Kota University has 175 affiliated colleges and self-sufficient departments beyond the 6 districts of the state of Rajasthan, Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi, Baran, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur are under the national authority of the university. The UOK’s Chancellor is Sh. Kalyan Singh (Governor of Rajasthan) and Vice-Chancellor is Mrs. Dr. Neelima Singh. This Time the student union is also in the Kota University Pinkesh Meena is President of the student union and Sandeep Jangid is General Secretary.
The Kota University is only one university in Rajasthan which provides the wildlife science course and this department running from last 8 successful years.

The University is taking steps in the form of a multi-faculty, multi-department organization for the development of its future, in which an absolute emphasis has been laid on the overall development of students of quality education. Therefore, the heritage school and its teaching and non-teaching staff have been divided by the Rajasthan government. In its continuity, some other proposals have also been incorporated under its 12th Five Year Plan in New Departments, Pure and Applied Bioscience Department, Pure and Applied Mathematics Department, Department of Humanities, Education Department, UGC. The University has also submitted its proposal to the UGC to develop sports complex, central library, computer science, boys and girls hostels, medicine, rainwater harvesting system, sewerage line etc. in their premises. The motto of the University is “Satyam, Shivam and Sundaram” means to search for truth, discover welfare and seek the best.
